The story of Fritz the Dachshund!

When a car hit Fritz the Dachshund, the dog lost his hind legs and his chances of survival were minimal. Fritz was a tough dog and he wanted to live, and a little girl named Stephanie, whose best friend Fritz was, would not let the vets put him to sleep. Stephanie's father saw his fighting spirit and will to live, as well as the girl's great love for him, and being a very inventive man, he made Fritz a cart out of her roller skates to make his life easier. To keep pace with her friend, Stephanie bought new roller skates, which she wore every time they went for a walk. In the seventies they were a real attraction on the streets of Manchester.
