I am Slaven Stevelić, a humane dog trainer, and I have been training dogs for more than 30 years. This website is intended for dog lovers who want to achieve better communication with their pet.

Training a dog does not mean merely teaching it to obey commands, but getting to know its character and approaching its mental stability in the right way. Through positive energy and play we can establish rules for the dog as a settled habit.

We cannot apply the same way of working to every dog, because not all dogs share the same character. A humane trainer is the dog's friend: the dog recognises him well and trusts him without limit. Mutual trust and a good connection have the greatest influence on training results.

With technological progress, human needs have changed too, and the relationship with the dog itself now calls for a higher level of communication. The old dependence on help with hunting and guarding settlements has grown into genuine understanding and respect between two different species, which today is reflected in complete devotion to one another.
