They tried to rape her in Greece, but a stray dog came to her rescue. The ending: SHE ADOPTED HIM!

An incredible story reaches us this morning from Greece, and the main star, we could say, is a stray dog. When Georgia Bradley went on holiday with her boyfriend to the Greek resort island of Crete, she had no idea that a few weeks later the world's media would be writing about her.

When her boyfriend decided he would rather stay in a local bar, Georgia decided to take a walk along the beach on her own. That is when she went through the ordeal of her life.

"I decided to go for a walk along the beach. I came across two Greek men who started verbally harassing me to go for a drink with them. My answer was always NO. Then one of them grabbed my arm, hard, and started pulling me. I knew where that was leading. It was terrifying, because I was alone," Georgia recounted.

"He started barking 'fiercely' at the men until they ran away. I started running towards the apartment, and the stray dog ran after me. All the way to the apartment," the young woman said.

She named him Pepper.

"Every evening we saw him outside the bars and restaurants, trying to get the tourists' attention," says Georgia.

Every day they begged the local shelter for abandoned dogs to take him in, but they kept refusing.

"When we got to the airport, we could not believe our eyes: Pepper was running after the car. My heart broke. And that was it. We got home to Britain, but I could not stop thinking about him. I took the first flight to Greece and went back for my Pepper," says this incredible young woman.

She named him Pepper.

Luckily, she soon found Pepper wandering along that same beach. She quickly took him in, brought him to a vet, had him microchipped, got him a passport, had him vaccinated against rabies and… TOOK HIM HOME! Though only after the three weeks Pepper had to spend in quarantine before flying to Britain!

But the story does not end there. When she took Pepper in, she found out that he was actually a FEMALE, and PREGNANT at that! A week after arriving in her new home, Pepper gave birth to six puppies.

"It was a crazy journey. But I do not even dare to imagine what would have happened if she had not been THERE that day," said Georgia
