A gloomy, chilly morning. I had just brought my beautiful babies into the world and I was a very tired but proud mum. My people, my family, come along, pile them into a wooden crate and carry them off somewhere. Exhausted as I was, I set off after them, whimpering "WHERE ARE YOU TAKING MY BABIES?" We arrive somewhere where there was nobody. Trees, greenery, bushes, a path…. They left the crate with my newborn little ones and walked away. "HEY, STOP, WAIT, YOU ARE MY FAMILY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING WITHOUT ME AND MY BABIES?!?" I started after them, then stopped, and slowly went back to my children, thinking "FORGIVE ME FOR LEAVING YOU, BUT MY BABIES NEED ME".

A Plea from an Abandoned Mother: GIVE MY CHILDREN A HOME
What now? An unfamiliar place, my people are gone, alone with my little ones. Time passes, I am hungry, thirsty. I tucked the little ones into the bushes and set off in search of food and water. I have to be strong, I have to eat so that my little ones have milk, I have to survive for their sake. And so the days went by, more hungry than full, mostly without water. Whenever someone passed by, I ran to meet them, hoping it was my people coming to get us and take us home, but… Some strangers shouted at me, chased me, someone took pity, gave me a piece of bread and a little water and went on their way. I grew weaker and weaker, but determined to guard my little treasures, my babies, to my last breath.
A day dawned like all the previous ones, I hear footsteps and run out barking to warn them: "I AM PROTECTING THEM, I STILL HAVE STRENGTH, I AM STILL ALIVE, I WILL DEFEND THEM TO MY LAST BREATH". I see a big black dog and two strangers approaching the place where I am hiding. I bark and back away, I am small, exhausted, they are big and full of strength. I hear them talking: "HEARTBREAKING… SHE HAS PUPPIES… SHE IS BARELY ALIVE…" and they leave, like everyone else. Time goes on, or perhaps it has stopped, but again I hear what seem to be the same footsteps, the same voices calling me: "come here little one, come and have some lunch". I do not dare to approach, why are they so kind? They will take my babies, I won't let them!!! They put something in the grass and move away. Slowly I come closer, a bowl of food and water. Am I dreaming??? I try to eat but I cannot, I am too starved. I take a little water and turn around, they are standing to the side, saying something, and they leave. On the following mornings I waited at the same time in the same place. Every day I would get fresh water and a bowl of food. I decided to give them my trust, to approach them and get to know them. A gentle touch of a hand and the words "DON'T WORRY, WE WON'T LET ANYTHING BAD HAPPEN TO YOU OR YOUR BABIES, WE ARE HERE". I close my tired eyes, I savour the moment, a little peace and calm. Maybe they will even keep their word.
The days go by, my new people are there every day with a bowl of food and fresh water. Sometimes it is him, sometimes her, and many times they come together with the big dog. They always keep him away so he doesn't frighten me, and then we cuddle, they take the ticks off me. They say they mustn't put anything on me, I am nursing puppies. Never mind, what matters is that I am strong now, full of strength, they say I eat well and have filled out, my babies have enough milk and that is the most important thing. I decided to surprise them tomorrow and introduce them to the rest of my family. A Plea from an Abandoned Mother: GIVE MY CHILDREN A HOME
A beautiful, sunny day. I hear the familiar footsteps. I sit in our spot full of pride, surrounded by my babies, and wait for them. She approaches slowly and tells me how beautiful they are, little snowflakes and cheerful little tails. I am sure I was not wrong to give her my trust. I look at her proudly and hear: "what do we do now, there are 8 of them? They are beautiful, but how do we find them homes as soon as possible, they are in a place where they could come to harm or be taken away at any moment, and we have nowhere to keep them. I have tried everything, nobody wants to take her in with the puppies."

Why does nobody want my babies? I have taught them to eat on their own. They are so small and gentle, full of love and the will to live. Like every mother, I want for my children "A WARM HOME FULL OF LOVE, REGULAR MEALS, TO BE HEALTHY AND LOVED". They are small, they will be around 10 kg when they grow up, they need so little space in your home. I am sure there are good people who keep their pets as equal members of their family.
HELP ME FIND HOMES FOR MY BABIES, PLEASE!!!
I will not have any more children, they tell me I am going to be spayed, it is better that way. Once my babies are homed, I need a home and my own people too, FOREVER, but my children come first.
Call my Vesna and she will tell you everything about me and my children. Her phone number is 064/0688885
THANK YOU, GOOD PEOPLE, FOR GIVING US THE CHANCE TO LIVE AND BE LOVED. WE WILL REPAY YOU WITH THE SINCERE, BOUNDLESS LOVE THAT ONLY DOGS KNOW HOW TO GIVE.
