Is the work of the „MY DOG“ centre for abandoned dogs in jeopardy?

Many of the dogs in our shelter were brought in by so-called „dog lovers“ who for months now have not paid for the food of the dogs we took in for boarding at a minimal price intended solely to cover the dogs' food. The „MY DOG“ association hereby calls on them to start settling their obligations, because our work is in jeopardy and we are not in a position to set aside the funds to feed the dogs and pay our three employees while at the same time taking care of the dogs' health and care. It is not fair to the other dog lovers whose dogs are in our shelter. We will be forced to name such people publicly. Some of the dogs even had potential adopters, whom we referred directly to those dog lovers, but we were not given permission to rehome them. Is that „fair“ to the dogs, or is it „fair“ to our association? We are asking the question and we ask those reading this to give us an answer. Because of the unpaid food bills and the impossibility of feeding such a large number of dogs, should we put these dogs back on the street, or close the entire centre (which currently holds around 130 dogs), thanks to irresponsible people?
