HORROR IN CROATIA: Monster BEAT A PUPPY WITH A HAMMER and buried it alive, and then something unexpected happened

News of unprecedented cruelty comes from Požega, where Z. M. (77) tried to kill his six-month-old mixed-breed puppy with a hammer.

Wanting to get rid of the dog, this monster first beat the puppy and then began savagely hitting it on the head with a hammer. The dog lost consciousness from the severe injuries, and the old man, thinking it was dead, buried it in the yard.

During the night, however, the unfortunate puppy came round and somehow managed to dig itself out with its little paws from the grave in which it had been buried alive.

Even though its owner had almost killed it and left it with serious injuries, the loyal dog came back to him. When he saw the mutilated puppy on his doorstep, this monster took it to the vet, not to save it, but to have it put down.

The police were informed about the abuse of the unfortunate animal and a complaint was filed against Z. M. At the police station, showing no remorse, he said the dog was his and that he could do whatever he wanted with it!

The old man faces a prison sentence of up to one year for torturing the unfortunate animal, but Croatian courts usually show incredible leniency towards animal abusers, even in extreme cases like this, writes „24sata.hr“.
