KIBBLE SIZE

• Medium-sized kibbles, suitable for all breeds and sizes.

• To ease the transition from mother's milk to solid food, at around 4 weeks of age you can moisten Husse Puppy kibbles with a little lukewarm water. At first add plenty of water (to make a mash), then gradually reduce the amount of water as the puppy matures.
• By around 8 weeks of age your puppy should be eating solid food. Puppies under 6 months should be fed 3-4 times a day; after 6 months you can start feeding twice a day.
• Make it a routine to give your puppy some quiet time after meals.
• For the daily amount, see the feeding table. The feeding table is only a guideline, adjust the daily amount to your puppy's individual needs.
• A bowl of fresh water should always be available to your dog.

A puppy learns fastest around meals: sit, wait, and only then the bowl. Husse Puppy food is for puppies of all breeds from 3 weeks until adulthood, and it also suits nursing females. Until 6 months, split the portion into 3 to 4 meals. Example from the table: a 4 month old puppy weighing 8 kg now, with an expected adult weight of 10 to 25 kg, gets about 210 to 270 g a day. This is a guideline, so follow growth and condition.

How do I move a puppy from milk to kibble?

At around 4 weeks, soften the kibble with lukewarm water into a mash, then gradually reduce the water. By about 8 weeks the puppy eats solid food.

How long does the 15 kg bag last?

For a puppy eating about 240 g a day, the bag lasts about two months.
