Animals show us what kind of people we are.
The popular rocker donated a large quantity of high-quality dog food to shelter owners who have been devotedly caring for four-legged friends for years. Written by:

The popular rock musician and poet Bora Đorđević, in cooperation with the company Pet shop, last week donated five tonnes of high-quality dog food to people he himself calls anonymous heroes: activists who have devoted their lives to sheltering and protecting animals. The aid went to various addresses, including some in Sarajevo, Čačak, Niš and Belgrade. "Bora and his wife recently picked up a blind kitten from the street, only 30 days old, and looked for a way to help it somehow.

That is what Bora is like: if there is no one else to help, he will at least help a blind kitten," says Slaven Stevelić, president of the My Dog animal welfare association from Čačak, recalling that he first met Đorđević back in 1993, and that the encounter was a real explosion of positivity for him. The kitten was taken care of, adopted, and is now called Steva Vonder (Stevie Wonder). Bora, of course, was his godfather. The popular rocker, humanitarian and great animal lover never misses a chance to mention the exploits of the heroes who have devoted their lives to protecting animals, and on this occasion he helped them by donating five tonnes of dog food. "My wife and I are full-hearted because we were able to do something for these people who, without any benefit or profit, do everything in their power to take care of unprotected animals.

Fahrudin Caki Bravo, Ana Kojić, Ana Mitrović and other anonymous heroes who save the lives of dogs and cats almost every day are, in my opinion, the only true heroes, the ones who show us why it is good to be human. After we gave them the food, some of them sent photos of happy dogs enjoying their meals. We are more than pleased," says rock legend Bora Đorđević, who has provided safe and healthy meals for abandoned dogs during these cold winter days.
