Feeding advice:

• To ease the transition from mother's milk to solid food, at around 4 weeks of age you can moisten the kibble with a little lukewarm water. Add plenty of water at first (to make a mash), then gradually reduce the amount of water as the kitten matures.
• Make sure your kitten can easily reach the bottom of the bowl.
• Leave the dry food where your cat can reach it at any time. Cats eat often and in small amounts.
• Only serve the dry food on its own once weaning is complete.
• For the daily ration, see the feeding table. The recommended daily ration is only a guideline, as needs vary considerably from cat to cat.
• A bowl of fresh water should always be available to your cat.

Husse Kitten dry food for kittens helps with the move from mother's milk: at around four weeks, moisten the kibble with lukewarm water into a mash, then reduce the water gradually. Kittens eat little and often, so leave food available. According to the table a kitten of 10 to 20 weeks gets 35 to 105 g a day; treat that as a guideline and watch growth and condition.

From what age can a kitten eat it?

Moistened from about 4 weeks of age, and dry only once weaning is complete.

Is it suitable for pregnant cats?

Yes, the table gives amounts for pregnant cats too: 50 to 90 g for cats of 2 to 4 kg.
