Šerbedžija in a Music Video to Help the Dog Shelter of Saša Pešić from Niš [video]

A world film star, an MMA champion and a children's choir recorded a music video for the song "Volim te, Šapice" (I Love You, Little Paw), as help and support for Saša Pešić, who cares for more than 800 abandoned dogs at his shelter in Niš.

The song, born "out of love for a dog", has now got a music video too. It features children from the Mari Mari music workshop and Rade Šerbedžija reciting Yesenin, and MMA fighter Dušan Džakić also appears.

I hope the audience will like the song and that Saša Pešić will get help for his shelter, said Bojan Milićević, who wrote the music and lyrics for "Šapica".

As a reminder, two and a half years ago, under great pressure from the domestic and international public, the inspectorate's eviction of the shelter was halted. This man from Niš has been fighting for years to save injured and abandoned animals, with the help of donors alone.

Incidentally, Niš has no dog shelter, and the city authorities have for years failed to permanently resolve the issue of abandoned dogs. Strays often attack the people of Niš, which is why the City frequently pays compensation from its budget.
