"I RUN FOR YOU" One marathon runner's T-shirt moved everyone, and it hides a SAD STORY

In the sea of half-marathon competitors it was impossible to miss Đorđe Šćepanović (25) from Montenegro, who dedicated today's race to his friend and prepared a T-shirt bearing his likeness.

The friend is a little dog that Đorđe came to love very much, but who sadly fell seriously ill.

"He died at three and a half years old. I took him for treatment all over Montenegro and abroad, and no one could give him a diagnosis; his legs simply gave out and I had to have him put to sleep. Since then I run for him, as much as he could not. This is the fifth time I am running, I take part in the half-marathon; I have run in Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia and Italy, and now for the first time in Belgrade. I have not trained for the race, honestly, but I believe I will manage to finish it in two and a half hours," says Đorđe.
