HORROR NEAR SUBOTICA: Beheaded dogs found next to a dumpster (DISTURBING PHOTOS)

In Kelebija, a suburb of Subotica, on the road leading to Lake Majdan, two beheaded dogs were found.

The dogs were most likely killed somewhere else, and their bodies were left next to the dumpster.

This morning the association "Subotičke njuškice" was informed that the bodies of dogs with their heads cut off were lying next to an eco dumpster.

"We went to Kelebija and found a man rummaging through the dumpster. He told us that some people had come and taken a body away in a van. We searched the dumpster too and found bloody veterinary gloves inside. They were in a woven sack. There was not much blood where the dogs had been, so we think they were most likely killed somewhere else and only the bodies were dumped by the container. The heads were not with the bodies. The traces of blood were fresh, which means it all happened early in the morning," says Beti Horvat, a volunteer with "Subotičke njuškice".

The bodies of the beheaded dogs were taken away by the team from the public utility company "Čistoća i zelenilo" in charge of that work at the Dog Shelter, and the police and municipal police also came to the scene and carried out an investigation.

"The people from the utility company who empty the containers called the City Shelter and they came out to the site immediately. The police were called and, as far as we know, an official investigation is under way. We do not know whether this was a message to someone, but we would all like to find out who did this and whose dogs they were, so we ask all citizens who have any information to call the police," the association says.

Some residents of Kelebija suspect the dogs were beheaded by people, whom they call inhuman, who fake dog bites this way in an attempt to obtain compensation from the city.

This year, up to the beginning of August, 81 dog bites were reported to Subotica's utility company "Čistoća i zelenilo", while last year there were 162 reports. Last year Subotica paid out almost four million dinars to injured citizens, and so far this year 2.11 million dinars.
