With dogs that spend the day quietly in a yard or flat, the most common mistake is an oversized portion. Maintenance adult dog food is meant for low to moderate energy needs, so choose the portion by real activity. Example from the table: a 15 to 25 kg dog on maintenance gets 280 to 425 g a day, and an active dog of the same weight 380 to 570 g. Split it into two meals; this is a guideline. Change food gradually over 7 to 10 days.

How long does the 15 kg bag last?

If your dog eats about 350 g a day, the bag lasts about 43 days.
