Fibre energi

Complementary feed for horses. Fibre Energi is a grain mix, rich in fat with an important fibre content. Fibre Energi is a high-quality muesli specially developed for competition horses that need extra energy for short-term efforts, such as jumping, trotting, CSO etc. Energy is delivered instantly by highly digestible starch from cereals (30% black oats, barley, wheat, maize and spelt). Long-stem alfalfa encourages chewing and salivation.

CerealsBlack oats (30%), barley flakes, puffed wheat, maize flakes and spelt contain quickly digestible starch and deliver readily available sugars for instant energy.
Alfalfa stemsLong alfalfa stems stimulate chewing and saliva secretion. Crude fibre comes from a high-quality cellulose source such as alfalfa.
Crude fibre is an irreplaceable component in the gut and allows a gradual release of energy. Alfalfa stems slow the passage of feed through the digestive tract and improve the digestion of all other components.

Flax chaff pellets, alfalfa pelletsthese types of pellets rich in long fibres are very beneficial for the digestive tract.

Linseed oilAn excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids and a medium- and long-term source of energy.
Active yeastContains a large amount of active yeast for smooth digestion. Live yeast cultures promote lactate-utilising bacteria in the large intestine and encourage healthy gut flora. This ensures optimal feed efficiency. Yeast is ideal support for smooth passage through the gut. Active yeast helps deal with pH changes in the hindgut and thus helps prevent colic, laminitis and increased gas build-up.
Galacto-oligosaccharides, mannan-oligosaccharides, fructo-oligosaccharides, GOS, MOS and FOS are prebiotics that are used only by beneficial bacteria and promote their development and therefore a healthy gut flora.
Biotinhelps improve hoof quality. Biotin is a member of the B vitamin complex and is best known for healthy skin, coat and hooves.
Vitamin EAs exercise increases, the working muscles' demand for energy increases and the number of free radicals produced rises. To avoid damage to muscle cells during exercise, adequate levels of antioxidants must be available to counteract all the free radicals being produced. Therefore, as a horse's workload increases, so does its need for vitamin E. Signs of oxidative damage in working horses include muscle pain and stiffness and slower than expected recovery from intense exercise.
